Question by : How do I re-download a kindle book on my replacement kindle?
I received a replacement Kindle and I'm trying to download my previously purchased book off of my "Kindle manage" section of my Amazon account on to my Mac. When I download the file and drag it to the Kindle icon it seems to work; but when I try to open it in the Kindle it says that it isn't licensed to me and to delete it. Have any ideas? Also, how do I delete it from the Kindle?

I'm not sure I understand exactly what's going on here. My first question is, have you authorized the new Kindle and set it up with the same Amazon account? What happens when you go to Archived Items on the Kindle itself? Can you view the book there? What happens when you try to download it directly from Amazon to the Kindle?

Yes, you can’t read the books on new Kindle!
You should remove the DRM from books, then transfer them to new Kindle.
